There are around 10 to 12 home groups set up to provide an informal forum where we can grow friendship, fellowship and faith, in Bible study, prayer, sharing and discussing together. They are a safe place where we can ask/discuss those questions that we barely dare admit that we don’t know the answer to – often to find that someone says “I’ve often wondered about that too”!
Most groups meet on weekday evenings either weekly or fortnightly, but there is a ladies’ group which meets one morning a week, and two men’s groups which meet monthly on a Friday Evening (usually around a curry), or a Saturday morning.
Some of the groups have started off life in the last few years as Alpha groups, and continued on from there: Others are for folks more mature in their faith. Tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. are usually not far away at any group.
