Cub Scout Promise
I promise that I will do my best to do my duty to God and to The Queen to help other people and to keep the Cub Scout Law
Cub Scout Law
Cub Scouts always do their best think of others before themselves and do a good turn every day.
Cub Scout Motto
Cub Scout activities are a combination of learning and having fun. They learn about themselves and how to look after themselves, they get to know people from their local community.
They find out about life in other countries and explore these through organised activities.
They care by helping those around them.
The Cub Scout programme and activities are based on six Programme Zones, these are:
- Beliefs and Attitudes
- Outdoor and Adventure
It is by participating in a Balanced Programme that the Cub Scout experiences Scouting.
In addition to the to the programme zones, the following reflects the experience of being a Cub Scout and is what people might expect to see if they walked into a Pack meeting:
- Getting on with others
- Keeping the Promise
- Personal Development
- Working together
